REAP the benefit 2020

A legacy of welcoming

tickets on sale soon

This year, we were looking forward to celebrating our tenth anniversary of operations with our annual benefit, a night when we invite throngs of people to enjoy our beautiful farm, with music, drinks and hors d'oeuvres from our restaurant partners.Obviously, "throngs of people" doesn't sound like a great idea in the time of COVID.Instead, we've been working on a way to hold an alternative benefit, where people can support us by enjoying the farm and delicious food in a way that keeps everyone safe and socially distanced.

We're finally ready to tell you what we have planned: three separate events on the farm where donors can come and enjoy a picnic meal prepared by some of Greater Cleveland's premier chefs. Each meal will be divided into two seatings – one earlier and one later – with 50 tickets available for each. You'll be able to buy a ticket for any of the following dates, or all three!

August 15, dinner by Karen Small of Flying Fig
August 22, brunch by Ben Bebenroth of Spice
September 26, dinner by Doug Katz of Zhug

This is a great chance to support not only Refugee Response, but also local restaurants and caterers, which have been devastated by the pandemic. We're also hiring women from our adult tutoring program to sew picnic kits that donors will be able to keep.Tickets will go on sale early next month. The dinner events on Aug. 15 and Sept. 26 will cost $150 per ticket, and the Aug. 22 brunch will cost $100.
